Munnar is a hill station in Kerala’s Idukki district, celebrated for its tea gardens and wildlife sanctuaries. Thekkady offers another glimpse of Kerala’s natural beauty, while Alleppey is famous for its backwaters, beaches, and temples. Kovalam, a coastal town in the Alappuzha district, features a beach, lighthouse, and churches. These destinations are just a few highlights of Kerala’s diverse attractions.
Itinerary
Day 1 Cochin – Munnar
Your first day in God’s Own Country, the mystical haven between the Western Ghats and the Great Arabian Sea. We will meet you at the airport when you arrive. Go to Munnar, the verdant paradise of Kerala, where there are endless expanses of tea and spice plantations as well as a variety of flora and fauna. You can stop at the Cheeyappara and Valara water falls en route. After dark, check into your hill resort and spend the night there.
Day 2 Munnar Sight Seeing
Today, after breakfast, go sightseeing at Mattupetty Dam, a lovely location for viewing the picturesque Munnar and Kundala Lake, a natural lake with boating facilities and a great view of the surrounding forest and Western Ghats. Visit the tea plantations and Eco Point as well. You can visit Eravikulam National Park, which protects the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, after noon. Drive back to your resort later to spend the night.
Day 3 Munnar – Thekkady
After breakfast today, check out of your hotel and travel to Thekkady, Kerala’s premier wildlife destination. It is also referred to as the state’s spice bag. To get to this jungle location, you can take a lovely journey through the hills and valleys of the Western Ghat. After checking in, go to your hotel for an optional Kathakali performance, spice plantation tour, elephant ride, or Ayurvedic massage. Alternatively, take a boat ride through the Periyar Tiger Reserve’s Periyar Lake. You will have the opportunity to observe wild animals like elephants, bison, sambars, deer, and others as they roam the two shores. A night’s stay.
Day 4 Thekkady – Kumarakom House Boat
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel to the house boat. Arrive at the house boat by noon and spend the rest of the day relaxing on it. Stay the night on a houseboat. In the houseboat, all meals will be provided.
Day 5 Kumarakom Houseboat – Cochin Drop
Today, after breakfast, depart from the houseboat and travel to Cochin. You will arrive in Cochin by noon, at which point you can start shopping if you have the time. We will drop you off at Cochin Airport in the evening. Service is over.
